Students can understand most clearly stated sentences and can express needs effectively. Students can participate in basic conversations but may still speak with hesitation. Students have control of basic grammar and can read and write common words, basic sentences, and short paragraphs with assistance. This class will continue to develop grammar, reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
