Students comprehend simple phrases and have acquired a basic English vocabulary. Students can recognize spoken words in context and are starting to communicate basic needs and information. Students will expand existing vocabulary and learn to accurately construct sentences and questions in the present tense. Students will require support from their teacher and peers.
