It is our mission to assist our students in developing and meeting their career, education and community goals. As part of this ongoing commitment, we strive to bring people and organizations from within the local Martha’s Vineyard and Cape community to our classes to share their experiences and information with our students.
During the MVALP academic year (September-April) we host monthly outreach nights where we have guest speakers or activities. Some of our past partnerships include: OB police departments, libraries, town halls, MV Public Schools, ACE MV, the Health Care Access program, the YMCA, and local supermarkets.
These partnerships play an invaluable role in acclimating students to island life and leading them on to the next step in their academic and professional life.
